Pa-Check Ka Lungs
Tuberculosis is an airborne disease that affects around a million Filipinos—making the Philippines the third highest in terms of disease prevalence. Public health experts have sounded the alarm on the severity of the tuberculosis situation in the Philippines, especially in light of the availability of treatment. USAID supports the national TB elimination efforts of the Department of Health. Part of its efforts is the Para Healthy Lungs, Pa-Check Ka Lungs!, a communications campaign that seeks to engage various stakeholders to put the country back on track in its fight against TB and promote overall lung health.
