Carlos Hemedes
Carlo brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and strategy across agency, client, and consultancy roles. He is a seasoned expert in business strategy, integrated marketing communications, consumer insight, and strategic planning. Carlo began his career in ABS-CBN as a communications specialist, later moving to brand management roles in Red Ribbon under the Jollibee Group. He then transitioned into strategic planning at Publicis JimenezBasic, serving major brands like Unilab, Globe, Coca-Cola, Meralco, Western Union, and San Miguel. His client-side experience also includes key marketing leadership roles at BDO Rewards and Philam Life (now AIA Philippines). As CEO and Managing Partner of Organic Intelligence Consulting, Inc., he leads a growing team of over 40 professionals in delivering insight-driven marketing solutions for leading private and public sector organizations. He continues to be Head of Strategy of The Community group of agencies, where Organic Intelligence is part of. Throughout his career, Carlo has helped over 300 organizations address complex business and communications challenges—from iconic consumer brands to mission-driven government and development institutions. In parallel with his industry work, Carlo has been a faculty member for over 10 years at the Ateneo de Manila University’s John Gokongwei School of Management, where he teaches Marketing and Advertising-related courses. He holds a degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing from Ateneo de Manila University, and a professional culinary certificate from the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM).
