Shiela Mangila

Group Account Director, Market Intelligence

Shiela is a seasoned market researcher with over 23 years of experience in quantitative, qualitative, social and polling, consumer and shopper research. She started and grew her career in one of the biggest global research agencies in the world, TNS (now Kantar). Her first ever project was on the urban poor and family planning which led her to appreciate the worthiness of her chosen profession.

While immersing herself into social and polling studies, Shiela simultaneously handled FMCG and personal care clients namely, P&G, Sanofi, Bayer, among others. Her last stint with TNS was being its local Retail and Shopper Champion where she headed pioneering shopper studies with Unilever and Samsung. She also handled a covert quarterly tracking political study for a former Philippine President during the time of the politician’s regime/reign.

Currently, Shiela heads Organic Intelligence’s market research business unit. She brings with her expertise in end-to-end project management of both traditional and non-traditional qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. She is also a part-time faculty at the Ateneo de Manila University, John Gokongwei School of Management teaching courses on Marketing Research.

Shiela graduated with latin honors from UP Diliman with a degree in Communication Research.
